Bailey Brinson knows Davis Marketing Company from just about every angle. What began as an internship grew into an eight-year career spanning content writing, social media management, finance, promotional products, and ultimately, leading the agency’s day-to-day operations.
As Chief Operating Officer, Bailey’s favorite part of the job isn’t checking off tasks, it’s leading people. She believes the strongest agencies are built by investing in their teams, creating a culture where people feel supported, challenged, and empowered to do their best work. While she enjoys collaborating on marketing strategy and brainstorming creative ideas with clients, her greatest passion is helping her team grow both professionally and personally. She believes great marketing starts with genuine relationships and that great leadership is measured by the success of the people around you.
A lifelong Statesboro resident and graduate of Georgia Southern University (Class of 2019), Bailey was recognized as one of the Statesboro Herald‘s 20 Under 40 and named Jaycee of the Year. She remains active in the community as a member of the Statesboro Jaycees and serves on the board of the Behavioral Pediatrics Resource Center.
Off the Clock: Bailey’s greatest accomplishment is being a mom to her son, Bennett. She’s usually planning her next trip, cooking or trying new restaurants with her husband, Braxton, or spending time with their dachshund, Bean, who firmly believes she runs the household.
Maggie Waller is a Public Relations graduate from Georgia Southern University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in May 2024. During her junior year, she joined Davis Marketing Company as a marketing intern, gaining hands-on experience in client relations, social media management, content creation, and digital marketing. After graduating, she transitioned into a full-time role and has continued growing her passion for helping businesses build meaningful connections with their audiences.
As an Account Manager, Maggie enjoys combining creativity with strategy to develop marketing solutions that help clients tell their stories. From managing client relationships and planning social media campaigns to writing compelling content, coordinating marketing initiatives, and overseeing projects from concept to completion, she loves the fast-paced, collaborative nature of agency life. She believes every brand has a unique voice and enjoys helping clients share their message in ways that are authentic, engaging, and effective.
Originally from Lyons, Georgia, Maggie enjoys building relationships within the communities she serves and takes pride in supporting local businesses through thoughtful, results-driven marketing.
Off the Clock: When she’s not creating content or meeting with clients, Maggie enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, discovering new coffee shops and restaurants, and making memories wherever the next adventure takes her. Whether she’s exploring a new city or enjoying a weekend close to home, she loves experiences that inspire creativity and connect her with the people around her.
Hunter has always been the person who notices when fonts don’t match, colors are slightly off, or a website takes one click too many to get where it’s going. Somewhere along the way, that obsession with the little details turned into a career—and for the past seven years, Hunter has been proud to call Davis Marketing Company home.
As a Graphic Designer and Website Developer, Hunter wears a lot of hats. One day, she’s building a website from scratch; the next, she’s designing a logo, creating a social media campaign, or figuring out how to make someone’s “quick idea” actually work. Her favorite part of the job is that every project is different, and every client has a unique story worth telling.
Completely self-taught, Hunter takes pride in the path that brought her to where she is today. Through years of learning, experimenting, troubleshooting, and yes, probably breaking a few websites along the way, she’s built a career doing what she loves. She enjoys finding the balance between creativity and strategy because good design should look great—but great design should also solve a problem. The best part? There’s always something new to learn.
Outside of work, Hunter can usually be found on a boat fishing or soaking up the sun, needlepointing, browsing antique stores for hidden treasures, or spending quality time with her family.
Off the Clock: Hunter has successfully lowballed more people on Facebook Marketplace than she’d care to admit… and somehow they usually say yes. If there’s a good deal to be found, she’ll find it.
Kavan Thompson has been trying to make cool things ever since his grubby three-year-old hands touched a keyboard and realized computers could do more than play games. He’s been chasing the next creative trick ever since.
As a Multimedia Specialist, Kavan splits his time between design, video, and combining creative skills into one project. It all started with some truly awful YouTube animations and the determination to make the next one presentable.
Kavan graduated from Georgia Southern University with a design degree and a GPA close enough to 4.0 to count in his head. During college, he spent four years in marketing and student relations, designing everything from wall art and stream graphics… to mascot variations for one of the university’s largest gaming spaces. His senior exhibition caught the attention of Davis Marketing, and one well-written follow-up email landed him a full-time job. He’s still very proud of that email.
Outside the office, Kavan is usually reading comic books, imagining superhero movie scenes while listening to music, or building fictional universes he’ll probably never finish. He once wrote, directed, and edited a full-length audiobook, rebuilt it after a corrupted file, and still considers it one of his favorite projects despite its audience of roughly ten people (including his mom). His bookshelf is also very cool.
Off The Clock: Kavan can move his eyebrows separately, has an oddly specific appreciation for Snoopy, thinks Kang the Conqueror deserves better, and has to resist adding an emoji to almost every email. He also goes to therapy, which he mentions just enough to seem emotionally mature. And also, he has the cutest cats and partner.
Rachel is one of the tallest members of the DMC team—and one of the quickest to laugh at her own jokes (whether everyone else gets them or not). As an Account Manager, she thrives on building relationships, developing creative strategies, and helping clients tell their stories in meaningful ways.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University after trading the volleyball court for the marketing world, where she spent her time spiking volleyballs in opponents’ faces.
Born and raised in Statesboro, Georgia, Rachel has promised countless times that she’s going to leave… but somehow never can. She’ll be the first to tell you there’s just something special about the “Greatest Little Town in the World.” Her love for the community fuels her passion for helping local businesses and organizations grow.
Off The Clock: Whether she’s meeting with clients, brainstorming campaigns, managing social media, or finding creative solutions, Rachel believes great marketing starts with genuine relationships—and maybe a few terrible jokes that only she laughs at.
Sarah Conner’s path to marketing wasn’t exactly traditional. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Augusta University, she thought it was the perfect time to try something new outside of the lab! She joined Davis Marketing Company as an intern in August 2024 and quickly found her place, growing from intern to part-time designer before joining the team full-time. Today, she’s still doing what she loves most: bringing ideas to life through thoughtful, engaging design.
As a Graphic Designer, Sarah believes every design should have a purpose. Whether she’s developing marketing campaigns, designing print materials, creating social media content, or constructing a website, she enjoys finding creative ways to tell a client’s story and help them connect with their audience. She loves the challenge of transforming ideas into visuals that are not only eye-catching but meaningful, and she’s always looking for new techniques, trends, and inspiration to make each project even stronger. For Sarah, great design is equal parts creativity, strategy, and a little curiosity.
Outside the office, Sarah enjoys staying connected to the Statesboro community as a member of the Statesboro Jaycees, the Statesboro Regional Art Association, and the Shelf Indulgence Book Club. She also volunteers at the Averitt Center’s West Main Gallery, where she enjoys supporting local artists and the creative community.
Off the Clock: If Sarah isn’t at her computer designing, she’s probably painting coastal wildlife, getting lost in a fantasy novel with a latte from a local coffee shop, tackling a new video game, or making the most of her AMC A-List membership with the latest movie release. She believes inspiration can be found just about anywhere—and she’s always on the lookout for the next great story, whether it’s on a canvas, a screen, or the pages of a good book.
